SO......................Instead of getting a puppy, I thought it may be nice to give 1 of the hundreds of lurchers that need re-homing a good home. I have purpose built kennels which are imaculate, my dogs eat the best grub, they are very healthy, they look great, they are happy, they get more exercise than enough (same gos for my other animals, ferrets, horses ect) But I have to ask, WHY OH WHY IS IT SO FECKING HARD TO GET THESE PEOPLE TO RE-HOME TO ME. As soon as they get an inkling that the dog may be worked, they just dont want to know AND THEY ADVERTISE ON HUNTING SITES I must have rung 5 or 6 places, and if you try to be honest, they just cut you off short. DO THEY WANT TO RE-HOME THESE DOGS OR NOT? May be they think its better to re-home to these pet people who dont know what these big dogs are all about to while away there life on a sofa instead of someone whos kitted up and used to owning these animals?
